Dave recently joined the all-star cast of bloggers at www.allthingscruise.com — one of the country’s leading online outlets for cruise news and features. He’s reported on the highs and lows experienced on a variety of voyages, including an epic trans-Atlantic crossing onboard the tall ship Star Clipper, a Maine coastal voyage and an Upper Mississippi River cruise with American Cruise Line, and a 7-day Alaska cruise with Holland America’s Noordam. You can go to the link above to read any of Dave’s day-by-day recounts.
In honor of his 35 years of continuous membership, the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) has granted Dave Lifetime Membership status (no dues!). ASMP is the nation's leading association of professional publication photographers and photojournalists.

Dave's 30+ year output of articles and photos have a permanent home -- in the archives of the American Heritage Center at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
The invitation to donate his life's work -- well more than a thousand articles and tens of thousands of photos -- was based on his being a "Native Son," and on the wide recognition he's received as a travel journalist.
The AHC Archives maintain and make available to researchers one of the world's largest collections of travel journalism.
